VERSA launches XIBC intrinsically safe solenoid for Zone 1 valve control
Valve World reports that VERSA expanded its XIBC intrinsically safe solenoid line with a 316L stainless-steel enclosure, ‘ia’ protection for Zone 1 valve control, pressure ratings up to 175 psi depending on valve series, and an optional sealing configuration down to -51°C.

RFQs should align hazardous-area certification and the required intrinsic-safety barrier or isolator, IP66/67 protection, valve-series pressure limits, 24 VDC/0.8 W power, M20 conduit interface, temperature range and actuator/solenoid compatibility; an ‘intrinsically safe’ label does not replace loop-level verification.
