VALVE.ME · LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: 2026-08-09
This Policy explains how VALVE.ME handles personal information submitted through accounts, RFQs, communications, analytics and procurement workflows.
1. Information collected. We may collect name, company, work email, country or region, account role, RFQ and BOM data, order and delivery records, communications, device type, language, referral source and limited usage events. We do not intentionally collect payment-card data on the current website.
2. Purposes and legal bases. Information is used to create accounts, verify email, respond to RFQs, match suppliers, prepare quotations, coordinate orders and delivery, prevent fraud, secure the service, measure performance and comply with law. Processing may rely on contract steps, legitimate interests, consent or legal obligations as applicable.
3. Public order data. RFQs are private and are never public merely because they were submitted. Only after a genuine order is confirmed may selected technical data be anonymized, reviewed and added to the searchable database. Direct identifiers are excluded.
4. Sharing and international processing. Data may be shared only as needed with relevant suppliers, inspection, hosting, email, analytics, communications and logistics providers, professional advisers or authorities. International transfers may occur for global procurement and are handled with legally required safeguards where applicable. We do not sell personal information.
5. Retention and security. Account and transaction records are retained only for service, dispute, tax, compliance and security needs, then deleted or anonymized. Reasonable access controls, encryption in transit, backups and monitoring are used, but no internet system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Cookies and analytics. Essential storage supports language, theme, sessions and security. Limited analytics measures pages, device category, country-level location and referrals; it is not intended to record full IP addresses or form contents. Third-party chat may set its own necessary storage.
7. Your rights. Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent or information about processing. We may verify identity and retain data where legally required. Contact linchenzhang318@gmail.com; you may also complain to the competent data-protection authority.
